Connecting securely

The System of Record is reached through a private tunnel between your device and the Orkora server. From 30 October 2026 the tunnel is required for Orkora staff. Setting it up takes about two minutes per device and is done once.

Install WireGuard on the device in your hands. It is free, from the App Store (iPhone, iPad, Mac), Google Play (Android), the Microsoft Store or wireguard.com (Windows).
Sign in to the System of Record with your Orkora email and password. If this device is not yet enrolled you are taken straight to the enrolment page.
Enrol the device. The page issues this device its own key, shown as a QR code for a phone or a file for a computer. Import it into WireGuard and switch the tunnel on.
Reload the System of Record. The warning about the open Internet disappears when you are on the tunnel.

Only a named Orkora account can enrol a device, and each key belongs to one device. If a device is lost, sign in from another and revoke it from your account page, or ask an administrator. Keys are never sent by email.
